John Carroll Weekend has come and gone and it was such an amazing experience! There were so many interesting events, so many insightful panels, so many interesting people, so many fascinating conversations, so many beautiful venues…and best of all it was so much fun! JCW 2013 truly was a magical weekend.

I even got to be on stage at the Friday night reception at the Royal Courts of Justice, to recognize the organizing committee. You can see me in the left hand corner, behind the President of Georgetown University, Dr. John J. DeGioia. That was quite a thrill!

I’m happy to report that my mini networking cards were a huge hit! I even gave one to will.i.am. He made a surprise appearance at the Madeleine Albright and Angela Ahrendts panel, and afterwards, he stayed around and chatted with everyone, happily posing for pictures and giving out autographs. I spoke to him for a bit and afterwards gave him my card, asking him to give me a call if he needed someone to help manage his philanthropic endeavours. Needless to say, I’m still waiting for his call…

As I was hoping, I gathered TONS of nuggets of wisdom during the weekend, which I will share with you in the next few months.
