The holidays are upon us and it is the perfect time of year to reach out to your contacts. Take this opportunity to send season’s greeetings to those in your network that have helped you in the past. Mail them a colorful Christmas card, send them an e-card, or drop them a short e-mail. Try to personalise it by making reference to the assistance they’ve given you.
If you don’t have time to do it before Christmas, don’t worry, you can still do it in the New Year (preferably in the first 2 weeks of Jan). The important thing is that they know you are thinking of them and are grateful for the support they have given you.
On that note, I’d like to take this opportunity to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Thank you for your help and encouragement with my job search and my blog! May you enjoy the holidays surrounded by those you love.
Yours truly, Miss Maven Muse
that reminds me, did you get my Xmas card?
